Within a short drive from the villa, you can find the well-known Makris Gialos beach as well as Xygia beach (natural source of hydrogen sulfide) – two beaches famous for their unspoiled beauty and crystal clear emerald waters.
Makris Gialos beach has a pebble beach and its crystal waters are ideal for snorkelers who love to explore the sea caves.
Xigia beach is known for its therapeutic Sulphur Springs and mineral waters which flow up from the seabed. This natural source is rich in collagen that makes the water highly therapeutic and extremely relaxing.
Agios Nikolaos is a small settlement with a small cove on the north-eastern side of Zakynthos. It’s situated 30km away from Zakynthos Town and 35 km away from Dionisios Solomos – International Airport.
There are many taverns around where you can taste fresh fish, local dishes and traditional Greek delicacies.
The small port is always full of fishing boats, yachts and excursion boats that will get you to Blue Caves and Navagio (Shipwreck) Beach.
The magnificent Blue Caves are one of the island’s natural attractions and some of the most beautiful in Greece.
They are located on the coast just below our Villas and the lighthouse at Cape Skinari.
The Blue Caves are famous for the reflection and diffusion of sunlight within the caves; turning the water into an impressive azure translucent blue.
The world-famous Navagio (Shipwreck) beach is the most impressive beaches not only in Zante but in most of the Mediterranean.
